File a Missing Android Report

If a registered android or robot is missing, report it immediately to the City of San Francisco Department of Automated Property Recovery (SFAPR). You’ll need to provide make, model, serial number/unique ID, last known location/time, security/access logs (if any), owner and authorized operator names and contacts, autonomy level (autonomous, semi-autonomous, remote-controlled), distinguishing marks, and any cargo/attachments. If theft, vandalism, or tampering is suspected, please describe circumstances and give witness details, photos, or footage.

You can file a report in person or by phone during business hours, or via the department’s Online Reporting Portal.

You will receive a ticket number and instructions for updates. Investigation and recovery depend on provided information and resources and may require coordination with manufacturers, service providers, or specialized units. Keep copies of all documents and report any sightings or recoveries to the Police Department D-Tech Division immediately.
